The Foundation teams are helping me develop an extension of my current business called, JUST US GIRLS PARTIES, which is a “Host Your Own Spa Party” program for girls birthdays.This program continues to focus on making a difference in the lives of spouses and supporting the dreams they have. The Building Business team has given me the confidence that I can do anything when it comes to running a business and I’m thankful to have their support!

R & R Designs started because I had a “needy want” for my little girl! I needed to have her darling little face adorned with beautiful little floral blooms, and the precious headbands I created for her were the answer!
Once we were stopped by smiling passerby’s, grandparents, other mothers everywhere we went…and I mean everywhere…such as the concourse women’s bathroom at San Diego International Airport, waiting for a table at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Rosa’s Tortilla Factory, or the ultimate destination of a girl’s fantasy, Disneyworld’s Princess Character Lunch …I just knew Riya and I were on to something great together!
I decided to stay committed to creating accessories that had a boutique feel to them and a little bit of glam goes a long way. I also knew that to make my dreams come to life I would need an affordable and professional website, marketing plans and some emotional support.
I had worked with the Building Business teams over the years and they were the second phone call I made after I decided to launch my idea! They have helped me take my idea to market quickly and with confidence!
Building a business is tough…but when you build it Military Spouse Style through the Foundation – you feel safe, empowered and ready to take on the market by storm!

I have always loved the idea of having my own business and Remembering You Designs is my passion and future. Growing up as a military “brat”, becoming a military spouse and raising four children has taught me a lot – but the Building Business teams completed my circle of knowledge in starting my own business.
I was extremely creative in my ideas – but I simply could not put a road map for success together on my own. They helped me put one foot in front of the other and now I am feeling confident in my ability to bring this to life with their support.
I know that no matter what concern or need I have – they are always there to help and they know my business needs inside and out.
